There were apartment buildings and single-family homes throughout the area.

Hows the general safety of the area?
There were emergency call boxes. We felt extremely safe during the daytime.

Local Restaurants?
There is a casual cafe called Gypsy, and a couple of upscale dinner restaurants such as Luxe.

There was really nothing else to do in the area other than look into the shops and eat at the restaurants. Both are somewhat limited.

Green space?
None.

Shops?
There was a modern home store called DuoHome on Detroit Avenue as well as some trendy clothing stores (such as Yellow Cake). That was pretty much the extent of the shopping, all in all there was not a whole lot of selection.

Gypsy Bean

- Nice assortment of paninis , sandwiches, and pastries
- They made specialty lattes that were amazing
-->The Galapagos, Mexico City and the Caramel Pecan lattes were amazing!
- Local coffee served (on the pricey side)
- Casual atmosphere, great place for a quick lunch
- Service was slow
- There were a lot of students studying, seemed to be a local hang-out spot
